New Era in Real Estate Ads: EİDS Now Mandatory!
As of 2025, a major regulation has come into effect in Turkey’s real estate sector regarding property listings.
The Electronic Ad Verification System (EİDS), developed by the Ministry of Trade, is now mandatory.
With this system:
Individuals posting property ads must complete identity verification.
The authorization certificate of the advertiser is checked.
Ads from unauthorized individuals or businesses will not be published.
This regulation aims to prevent fake listings, eliminate price manipulation, and increase transparency in the sector.
What does this mean for real estate agents?
Every agent must now have a valid authorization certificate issued by the Provincial Directorate of Trade. Otherwise, their ads will be automatically rejected.
This implementation is designed to protect consumers and promote professionalism and trust in the market.
